This first two days will be spent discussing the technical and policy data challenges the consortium has raised and the Research Data Alliance's role in solving them. The Research Data Alliance (RDA) Planning meeting will begin the work of organizing the RDA (was Data Web Forum), see DWF concept paper. See http://www.rd-alliance.org/ for additional information.
  • Notes from organizer: The RDA planning meeting is an outgrowth of the DataNet/INTEROP PI meeting held in Indianapolis, IN January 2012. Neither of these October meetings is an official "PI meeting" which has obligatory attendance requirements under terms of grant. We offer travel funds as needed. Please indicate your need for travel assistance on the registration form.
